BIBBY’S ANGLING CLUB Notice to all members the club is pleased to announce the acquisition of 3
new waters.

The Shropshire Union Canal

The Shropshire Union Canal at Shebdon this is pristine canal water set in a tranquil
countryside location. There is over a mile of easily accessible fishing from Shebdon Bridge to
the food processing factory at Knighton. The stretch is full of fish having been used as a
venue for the national and pair’s championship in recent years. Bream to 5lb, roach to over
1lb, perch to 3lb, and loads of gudgeon, occasional carp, pike, rudd and chub. Bags of bream
to 40lb have been caught from the boatyard, beware of overhead cables.

Bridget’s Pool

Bridget’s Pool at Trent Vale this is a 14 peg pool with fishing platforms ideal for family’s lots
of silver fish, tench to 4lb and carp to double figures.

Jammies Pool

Jammies Pool at Abbey Hulton, This is a deceptive estate pool with a number of features
that produces some excellent specimens a 24lb plus mirror as featured in the anglers mail,
there are 6lb tench, 5lb bream , good roach and for the predator angler perch 3lb plus and
pike to 17lb.
